Youth & Family Specialist needed

Prevention Specialist needed

This position is responsible for responding to crisis situations involving residents in any of the living units. This responsibility includes using well-developed verbal de-escalation techniques in response to the child. Utilize physical restraint and/or seclusion only when the child is a direct threat to themselves or others. Maintain accurate and timely paperwork and review restraint logs to ensure employee is using TCI techniques appropriately and correctly. 2nd shift available. High School Diploma or GED. Highly prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work. Highly prefer prior experience dealing with emotionally troubled youth. Good organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills as well as good written/oral communication skills. Ability to be certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and provide physical intervention as needed for resident behavior management. Maintenance Mechanic needed

Responsible for preventive maintenance, installation and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the buildings and grounds of Crossroad.  S/He will perform general building maintenance in compliance with the applicable codes.  This person must have knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical applications, large and small power tools, hand tools, and auto mechanics.  Must be able to trouble-shoot maintenance problems.  Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to work with minimal supervision.  Must have basic math skills and possess a high school diploma or GED.  At least one year experience in facilities maintenance.  Current HVAC Certification required.  Must have valid driver’s license.  This position is full-time with benefits.  Apply in person or send resume/cover letter to: Director of HR, Crossroad, 2525 Lake Ave, Ft.
