Rylie Cook

Rylie first joined Crossroad in 2019 while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Indiana University. She continued her education and graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on mental health and addictions from Indiana University in 2022. Her passion is working with children and underserved populations. She has experience providing case management and therapy to children and adults who have experienced trauma, as well as those who have struggled with anxiety and addictions. In her work at Crossroad, she utilizes an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed approach to create a safe space for all clients to learn, grow, and embrace healthy connections while acknowledging the impacts of environment and culture.

Her work is influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Relational-Cultural Therapy techniques. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge and skills in play therapy, EMDR, somatic experiencing therapy, and trauma-focused CBT.
